Our story

Your home should be your peaceful place.

After years working in the pool and outdoor living industry, Angela Blanton saw the same pattern repeat itself. Homeowners would come in with a vision, and too often that vision would get lost along the way. Designer preferences would take priority. Details would slip through the cracks. And at the end of the project, the space felt like someone else's — not the homeowner's.

Angela started Serene Spaces Studio to do things differently. Every project begins with listening. What relaxes you? What excites you? What does home really mean to you?

From there, we bring your vision to life through detailed 3D renderings, thoughtful material selections, and hands-on coordination with your builder or contractors. We work with homeowners dreaming of their first backyard retreat and builders looking for a reliable design partner. Whether it is a pool, an outdoor kitchen, a pergola, or a full indoor remodel, we design spaces that feel like you.

Angela Blanton, Founder & CEO

Angela is the heart and hands behind Serene Spaces Studio. With a background in the pool and outdoor living industry, she brings a rare combination of design creativity and construction know-how to every project. Her philosophy is simple: your home should feel like your peaceful place, and her job is to help you get there.

When she is not designing, you will find her spending time with her family, tending to her beloved hibiscus (his name is Rico Suave), and dreaming up her next project.
